The Meaning of AidilFitri .

Name :Siti Norshuhadah Binti Sapiee ID Student : PTM 140716804         Personally, I believe thar Hari Raya Aidilfitri, as well the others festivals of other Malaysian, is very beuatiful and meaningful festival because it is a time of reflection, a time of forgiveness, a time to reunite and to strengthen not only family ties but also to forgive and forget past quarrels with friends and loved once. Muslim greet each other with " Maaf Zahir Batin" which means "I seek forgiveness ( from you ) physically and spiritually." It is an act for pardon which is done in order of seniority. The younger members of a family approach their elders ( parents, grandparents etc) to seek forgiveness, to "salam", then kiss the hands of the olders person as a sign of respect, trully a very beautiful act indeed.

The Strike Of Dengue Fears Malaysians

Nur Hazwani Bt Hashim PTM140716780 What is meaning of dengue?          Dengue fever is a disease caused by a family of viruses that are transmitted by mosquitoes . It is an acute illness of sudden onset that usually follows a benign course with symptoms such as headache, fever, exhaustion, severe muscle, joint pain and rash . The presence (the “dengue triad”) of fever, rash, and headache (and other pains) is particularly characteristic of dengue. Other signs of dengue fever include bleeding gums, severe pain behind the eyes, and red palms and soles.      Did you know that dengue is spread by the Aedes Aegypti, a domestic, day-biting mosquito that prefers to bite humans ? They breed in clean water. Currently there is no vaccine available to prevent dengue. Scientists are also trying to invent a vaccine against dengue fever, but the researches are only at the stage of experiments yet. The only treatment is rest ...

The Strike Of Dengue Fears Malaysians !

Nur Soleha Bt Abdul Karim PTM140716780 DENGUE ! Dengue (or dengue) is one of the most common mosquito-borne diseases in Malaysia. It is so common that the Health Ministry maintains a current dengue report on its homepage, updated weekly. Dengue causes a high fever and a rash. Most people fears because dengue will be ill for about 10 days but with the right treatment, will then recover.  Only female Aedes aegypti mosquitoes spread dengue fever, which killed 134 people in Malaysia last year.  Malaysia has released 6,000 genetically modified Aedes aegypti male mosquitoes into a forest in a bid to curb rates of dengue fever.            However, the plan has sparked criticism by some Malaysian environmentalists, who fear it might have unforeseen consequences, such as the inadvertent creation of uncontrollable mutated mosquitoes. Critics also say such plans could leave a vacuum in the ecosystem that is then filled by another i...

The Meaning Of Aidilfitri To Me....

Nur Hazwani Bt Hashim PTM140716779 Hari Raya Aidilfitri is the Malay term for the Muslim festival of Eid ul-Fitr. Hari Raya is also known as Lebaran. This festival is celebrated by Muslims in Malaysia and other Muslims throughout the world. If we were to look at the term, "Hari Raya" literally means "Day of Celebration". Usually, the main greeting used in Malaysia when greeting each other is "Selamat Hari Raya" which means "Happy Eid" in Malay. Hari Raya Aidil Fitri is actually a joyous occasion for Muslims as it signifies the personal triumph of the believer and the victory of self-restraint and abstinence from food for a month. Symbolically, it symbolises purification and the renewal. It is not easy to fast - honestly. For my country Malaysia, the period of fasting ends when the new moon is sighted on the evening of the last day of Ramadhan which could be today as indicated by the lunar calendar. The actual sighting is conducted by st...

The Meaning Of Adilfitri To Me :)

Nur Soleha Bt Abdul Karim PTM140716780 After a month, we muslims fast from early dawn till dusk, Hari Raya Aidilfitri is a symbol of victory for us!! To be able to fast for a whole month not just from food and drinks but also from bad deeds, bad talks, bad thoughts and etc. We are trained to at least try our best for 30 days from doing bad things hoping when the Ramadhan is over, we could get used to not-doing-bad-things. I hope I've put it in the simplest way (^^) The night before Aidilfitri, right after the dusk approaches, we are encouraged to takbiran (a form of recital that prays to Allah) starting after our Maghrib prayer until the next day's zuhur. You could consider it as a form of victory song for us.During Aidilfitri, we are encouraged to wear the fines cloth we have like 'Baju Kurung" for woman and "Baju Melayu" for man, eat the best dish to celebrate the Aidilfitri. During the first day of Aidilfitri, must be dress up with a perfe...

NAME : SITI NUR AQILAH BINTI MOHD SAKRY NO ID : PTM140716768             Muslims celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri   to give thanks and celebrate their success in completing the month-long fasting period of Ramadan. The phrase hari raya is a Malay term meaning “a day of celebrations”. Hari Raya Aidilfitri is welcomed with much joy and goodwill. Although it is not a religious requirement, Muslims wear new clothes, visit relatives and friends and indulge in delicious food.           The day, however, starts with special prayers at the mosques or open spaces. These prayers are performed as a congregation, led by an imam. There is also a special sermon. After the morning prayers, Muslims return home to celebrate Hari Raya with their families.          An important custom in this part of the world is to seek forgiveness from one another, especially from older members of the family. This custom is ...
